The Power of Divine Wombmanhood

Generally speaking, the dictionary utilizes external characteristics to determine the qualities attributed to the definition of “woman”. This workshop series will emphasize the internal attributes that determine the essence of wombmanness. The participants will take a journey to wombmanhood; that is, a spiritual reclamation of the power of the womb.

This workshop is designed to bridge the generational gap between mothers and daughters by focusing on the healing essence of the womb. It will concentrate on the importance of passing down matrilineal knowledge, creating matrilineal knowledge and defining health families..

• Her-stories: A Race/Gendered Perspective on the Discrimination of Black Women from Enslavement in the United States to Present day

This workshop will explore aspects of the reparative value of putting together pieces of historical and current day accounts of the particularized damage sustained by black women.
